Yogaync.TV delivers to you rich media content in a different , our video content to is delivered to you in real time – you are watching the bytes as they are delivered. To do this, we use the Real Time Messaging Protocol (RTMP) and several of its variants, via Adobe’s Flash Media Server 3.5 so there is real power behind our streaming distributions.
Streaming has several potential benefits for you. Streaming can provide more flexibility in playback: with streaming, it’s easy to pause, rewind, and fast-forward a media file to whatever spot is needed, without needing to worry about how much of the file has already been downloaded to the browser. We have configured our streaming distributions to use multiple bit-rate streaming. This feature lets you watch at different quality levels. You can manually adjust the quality of your video based on the speed of your internet connection.
Streaming also gives you more control of your space, as no file remains on your computer, so your favorite yoga classes are available at any computer that you log into . Additionally, streaming can save you money, on your internet costs as it only delivers portions of a media file that you actually watch. In contrast, with traditional downloads, frequently the whole media file will be downloaded, even if you only watch a portion of the file.
Like all of Yogasync.tvs services, streaming video is designed to give you high performance, reliable delivery of your yoga content. Streaming distributions use all the edge locations listed above, so your Yoga is streamed from a server that is close to you.
